Delaware poet Jane Miller and I will tag team exercises to guide poets and prose writers toward an exploration of senses, language, voice, and metaphor. The Judge Morris Estate is an elegant and historical setting, perfect for launching a new season of writing with friends and peers. Please join us!
This workshop is presented through the generosity of the Delaware Division of the Arts and the Delaware Division of State Parks.
For the next few weeks, meet here every morning with a notebook or document to answer three questions about writing, about your status quo as a writer, or about the writing life. You can answer briefly and go about your day, or you can use this as a warm up exercise before your regular writing schedule. Whatever works for you, works for me.
Day 3 Questions:
Do you participate in any writing communities?
What benefits have you gained from your community?
What do you give back?
You may post answers in comments or keep your thoughts private–your choice!
